Design Proposal:

Provide a full refresh solution for this quilting membership site. The existing site has not been maintained for some time and is in urgent need of updating.

Key Features:

• Refresh all existing content plus add member specific content
• Implement a SSL certificate
• Redesigned graphics and layout to modernise the website,
• Email flexibility and security,
• Implementation of best practise security for the website and visitors,
• Compliance with Australian online standards.

Solution:

The solution addressed a number of key areas including:

Graphics:

• New logo and header graphics to be added to pages to set the look and feel of the website.
• Add any suitable pictures that promote the Guild

Pages:

• Look at updating or rationalising the number of pages as many contain little useful content.
• Add a Privacy Policy page as this is needed to conform to Australian standards.
• Update the Contact page with a simple fill out contact form
• The home page should be used to promote significant upcoming events. Eh. Quilt-in, AQIP etc..

Email:

• Created Guild email accounts for a number services
• Setup email forwarding

Other:

• Clean up the site navigation to so that it is simpler to use
• Add a website footer area with useful content
• Link AQA Facebook and Instagram accounts
